森林裡的秘密花園

本件作品以「森林裡的祕密花園-夢想探險家」為創作主軸,設計了一位代表新光國小學子的探險家「小光」,小光騎乘著飛翔的葉子,每天在校門迎 接新光國小的每一位成員。並融入了台中太平區的自然生態及景觀,從代表 勇氣的「酒桶山」開始他的探險旅程,其中經歷了代表愛與希望的「仙女瀑布」 ·然後進入代表冒險精神的「蝙蝠洞」,最後抵達了代表夢想茁壯的夢想樹 屋「大樟樹」,本件公共藝術具備與人互動的功能,藉由電 子感應的聲音裝 置,讓熙攘往來的學生及家長,在經過照牆的各種動物時,能聽見該種動物的 叫聲。藉此拉近學子與藝術作品的距離,提升校園及鄰近社區的人文素養,創 造區域性的藝術新地標。
This artwork, titled "The Secret Garden in the Forest - The Dream Explorer," centers around the character "Xiao Guang," a young adventurer representing the students of Xinguang Elementary School. Riding a flying leaf, Xiao Guang greets every member of the school at the gate each day. The design integrates the natural ecology and landscapes of Taiping District, Taichung. Xiao Guang's journey begins with the courageous "Wine Barrel Mountain," passes through the hopeful and loving "Fairy Waterfall," ventures into the adventurous "Bat Cave," and culminates at the dream-nurturing "Great Camphor Tree," symbolizing growth and aspirations.
This public art also features interactive elements. Through sound-activated electronic sensors, students and parents passing by the wall can hear the sounds of various animals depicted. This interactive design bridges the gap between the students and the artwork, enhancing the cultural atmosphere of the campus and surrounding community while creating a new regional artistic landmark.
太平,是台中市河川最密集的地方,太平區是多條溪流上游, 也是許多水生動物的天堂;本件作品以「水底森林」為主軸, 導入河川的概念,以色彩豐富的河川水生植物為設計重點,如 :金魚藻、台灣原生種水生植物水車前草及臺灣萍蓬草等,作品 中悠游於水中的魚類,是以台灣原生魚種「粗首鹼」作為設計 發想,讓孩童猶如徜徉在水生植物及動物之中。
Taiping is the area with the highest density of rivers in Taichung City. As the upstream source of multiple streams, it serves as a paradise for various aquatic animals. This artwork, titled "Underwater Forest," is inspired by the concept of rivers, focusing on the vibrant colors of aquatic plants such as hornwort, the native Taiwanese plant Ottelia alismoides, and Nymphoides coreana. The fish swimming gracefully in the artwork are based on the native Taiwanese species, the "Taiwanese Mud Carp" (Oryzias latipes taiwanus), creating a scene where children can feel as though they are immersed in a world of aquatic flora and fauna.

民眾參與活動
「夢響陶鈴，共創未來」
以「夢想陶鈴」為主題的民眾參與活動，邀請莿桐國小學生透過創作釉上彩陶鈴，融入個人夢想與創意，成為公共藝術的一部分。每個陶鈴以 12x7 公分為單位，象徵每位孩子的獨特聲音與希望。活動旨在啟發學生對在地文化的認同，並以手作藝術實現夢想，為「敲響夢想的樹鐘」公共藝術增添更多鮮活的情感連結，與社區共同譜寫溫暖的未來篇章。
