跳躍時光的旅程
以台江內海的地貌及生物的變遷作為創作主軸，敘述了曾文溪多次改道，[蔗頭啼雞]也就是環頸雉最喜歡在這樣草與水的生態中出沒。而台江內海為17世紀台灣南部的一座大潟湖，在1624年的台南安平位於海灣的沿岸有七個狀似鯨魚背的相連沙洲羅列合稱「七鯤鯓」，鯤鯓乃是比喻沙洲在海上遠觀有如鯨魚背部的意思，臺灣於荷蘭人治臺前，臺灣梅花鹿的數量相當龐大，而台江內海亦做為出口鹿皮輸出給日本的貿易大港之一。
Using the changing geography and biodiversity of the Taijiang Inland Sea as its creative theme, this work narrates the multiple course changes of the Zengwen River. The [Chetou Tiji], also known as the ring-necked pheasant, thrives in such grassland and aquatic ecosystems. The Taijiang Inland Sea, a vast lagoon in southern Taiwan during the 17th century, featured seven interconnected sandbars near the shoreline of Tainan Anping in 1624, collectively called the "Seven Kunshen." The term "Kunshen" metaphorically describes the sandbars resembling the backs of whales when viewed from afar. Before Dutch rule, Taiwan was home to a significant population of Formosan sika deer, and the Taijiang Inland Sea served as a major trading port for exporting deerskin to Japan.
以臺灣史博館的區域性動植物作為創作主軸,分別以[樟樹]、[榕樹]及[苦楝樹]三種與臺灣人們生活息息相關的植物作為創作發想,結合曾經在臺灣存在過但現在已經絕跡的動物[獐]、保育類動物[諸羅樹蛙]以及[白頭翁]三種動物作為連結,串聯出專屬於臺灣人的文化及生活脈絡。
Using the regional flora and fauna of the National Museum of Taiwan History as its creative theme, this work draws inspiration from three plants deeply connected to Taiwanese life: [camphor tree], [banyan tree], and [chinaberry tree]. These are combined with three animals that hold significance in Taiwan's natural history: the [Reeves's muntjac], which once existed in Taiwan but is now extinct; the [Chirixalus idiootocus], a protected species of tree frog; and the [light-vented bulbul]. Together, these elements weave a narrative uniquely reflecting the cultural and everyday life connections of the Taiwanese people.
